The largest International travel event of Bangladesh titled “Biman BangladeshTravel & Tourism Fair 2017” will be held at Bangabandhu International Convention Centre, from April 20. The seventh version of the BTTF is being organised by Tour Operators Association of Bangladesh (TOAB). The national flag carrier Biman Bangladesh Airlines joins the event as the Title Sponsor.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the title sponsorship of “Biman BangladeshTravel & Tourism Fair 2017” was signed between Biman and TOAB today (Monday) at the Biman Head Office BalakaKurmitola Dhaka. Md. Ali AhsanBabu, Director Marketing & Sales of Biman Bangladesh Airlines and Taufiquddin Ahmed, President of TOAB signed the MOU on behalf of their respective organization. Syed AhsanHossainKazi, GM Marketing & Sales,ShakilMeraj GM PR and AshrafulAlam, GM Dhaka Sales Office of Biman, Md. Taslim Amin Shovon Director (Travel & Trade), Tanvir Ahmed and Roche R. Randolph of TOAB witnessed the signing among others.
TOAB President TaufiqUddin Ahmed informed that National Tourism Organisations, airlines, tour operators, hotels, resorts, financial institutions and others involved in the travel and tourism sector will showcase their products and services at 140 stalls and 8 pavilions during the “Biman BangladeshTravel & Tourism Fair 2017. As before, the participating organisations will offer attractive packages and discounts for the visitors during the three-day fair. On side line of the Fair, TOAB will hold five seminars on the Prospect of different types of Tourism in Bangladesh. Tourism Minister of West Bengal and Tripura of India, delegations from Nepal and Thailand Tourism Association will take part in the grand event.Rashed Khan Menon, MP, Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism will inaugurate the fair as the Chief Guest.
Speaking on the occasion Md. He informed thatthe Airline had already augmented its passenger services in both at the ground and inflight. “Our award winning Flight Catering Centre (BFCC) has also introduced meals for customers of special dietary needs like Diabetic meal and Kids meal.
ShakilMeraj, GM PR of Biman Bangladesh informed that Biman had recently developed its travel wing titled ‘Biman Holidays“ to cater the growing demand of leisure travelers and holiday makersto 96 international destinations beyond its routes.
